The Strong Friend, the High Achiever, the One Who Holds It Together—But Who’s Holding You?

Stylish Black woman standing in soft sunset light, gazing into the distance with a reflective expression, symbolizing the exhaustion and loneliness of always showing up for others while feeling unseen herself.

You Keep Pouring Into Others—But Who’s Pouring Into You?

You wake up already exhausted, your mind racing with the endless to-do list that never seems to shrink. Everyone counts on you—the dependable friend, the problem solver, the one who always has it together. But beneath the surface, you feel like you’re barely holding on.

You say yes when you want to say no, feeling the weight of obligation press down on you. The resentment creeps in, but so does the guilt. Why is it so hard to prioritize yourself?

You long for rest, but slowing down feels foreign—maybe even selfish. You wonder if anyone truly sees how much you're struggling, or if they just assume you’re fine because you always find a way to push through.

What you really want isn’t complicated—you just want to breathe. To exist without feeling like you owe everyone a piece of yourself. To say no without guilt. To be surrounded by people who pour into you, not just take from you.

You want to wake up feeling rested, to move through your day without the crushing weight of obligation.

You dream of feeling deeply seen and supported—not just as the strong one, but as someone worthy of care, too.

Most of all, you want to trust that you can set boundaries, speak your needs, and still be loved.

You don’t have to keep running on empty. Therapy is where you finally get to put some of that weight down and start reclaiming yourself.

You’ve Spent So Much Time Taking Care of Everyone Else—Now It’s Your Turn.

I help high-achieving women like you break free from survival mode so you can finally create the life you truly want.

Through our work together, you’ll gain the tools to finally prioritize yourself without guilt. Here’s what that can look like:

Set boundaries without guilt—so you can protect your energy without feeling like you’re letting people down.
Break free from over-functioning—because your worth isn’t measured by how much you do for others.
Release perfectionism—so you can finally live on your own terms, not by impossible standards.
Reconnect with yourself—and start prioritizing what you truly need, not just what others expect.
Feel deeply seen and supported—because you deserve care just as much as you give it.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Therapy helps you reclaim your time, your peace, and your sense of self.

It’s time to prioritize YOU.

Breaking Free from Over-Functioning Starts Here

For so long, you’ve been conditioned to believe that your worth is tied to how much you do for others—that rest has to be earned, that saying no is selfish, and that if you don’t hold everything together, it will all fall apart.

But what if there was another way? A way to embrace a life where you matter, too.

I created the EMBRACE Framework to help high-achieving women like you release the guilt, rewrite the rules, and reclaim your peace—without apologizing for it.

Here’s what your journey will look like:

E - Evaluate & Unpack → Identify the beliefs, patterns, and expectations keeping you stuck.
M - Mindset Reset → Rewrite the narratives that tie your worth to productivity.
B - Boundaries Without Guilt → Learn to say no and honor your limits without fear or shame.
R - Reclaim Rest & Joy → Give yourself permission to slow down and enjoy your life—guilt-free.
A - Assertive Communication → Speak up for yourself with confidence and clarity.
C - Cultivate Support → Build a life-giving community that sees you, not just what you do for others.
E - Embody Your New Normal → Step fully into the ease, balance, and freedom you deserve.

💡 Which step speaks to you the most? Let’s talk about how therapy can help you step into this transformation.

Session Cost & Insurance

Investing in your well-being is invaluable. My individual therapy sessions are $250 for 50 minutes, designed to provide deep, personalized support tailored to your unique needs.

As a private-pay, out-of-network provider, I prioritize high-quality, individualized care without the restrictions of insurance limitations.

While I don’t accept insurance directly, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Many clients find that private-pay therapy allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and a treatment plan that truly centers you.

Still on the Fence About Therapy?

I see you.

You’ve carried so much for so long that the idea of putting yourself first feels… foreign. Maybe even selfish.

You wonder if therapy will really help, or if you should just push through like you always have.

I get it.

Starting therapy is a big step, and hesitation is normal.

If any of these thoughts have crossed your mind, you’re in the right place.

My goal is to make this process feel safe, supportive, and empowering—so you can move from just surviving to truly thriving.

Let’s talk through the concerns that might be holding you back.

“I don’t know what I will talk about or I don’t know what to say.”

That’s completely okay. You don’t have to come in with everything figured out—that’s what therapy is for. I’ll guide the conversation in a way that helps you uncover what’s really weighing on you. Often, just showing up and allowing yourself to be heard is the first step toward clarity and healing.

“How often will we meet?”

Consistency is key to meaningful progress. Most clients start with bi-weekly sessions to build momentum, then adjust based on their needs and goals and as they gain confidence in applying what they’ve learned. We’ll determine a schedule that best supports your growth and needs.

“I should be able to handle this on my own."

You’re strong, capable, and resourceful—that’s not in question. But even the strongest people need support. Therapy isn’t about weakness; it’s about allowing yourself the same care and guidance that you so freely give to others. Healing happens in connection, not isolation.

"I don’t have time for therapy."

If your schedule is maxed out, that’s even more reason to invest in your well-being. You can’t pour from an empty cup. Therapy helps you reclaim your time by learning to set boundaries, say no without guilt, and finally create space for yourself.

"Will therapy actually help?"

If pushing through and handling it alone worked, you wouldn’t feel this exhausted. Therapy gives you the tools, support, and clarity to break free from burnout and step into a version of yourself that feels lighter, more at peace, and truly fulfilled.

"Why pay for therapy when I can talk to my friends?"

Friends are great, but therapy is different. Here, you don’t have to be the strong one. You get an unbiased, professional space where it’s not about giving advice—it’s about helping you unlearn patterns, heal past wounds, and build a life that works for you.

"Therapy is too expensive."

Therapy is an investment in your emotional well-being—the one thing that impacts every area of your life. Many of my clients come to see that the cost of staying stuck in burnout, anxiety, or people-pleasing is far greater. If finances are a concern, I can provide a superbill for potential insurance reimbursement, or we can discuss frequency options that work within your budget.
